Second fish rescue: DFG and Volunteers move another 1,000 fish from Caples to Silver and Red Lakes: Actual number of fish about 1,000 trout and 19,000 fry (believed to be Tui Chub)

CA Fish and Game contemplates third rescue next week

September 24 -- Twenty DFG employees and nine volunteers recruited by CSPA worked hard to save fish after a bladder dam was erected at Caples Lake to allow repairs to the dam. Story and photos.

September 23-DWR and US. Dept. of Interior to hold hearings on installing gates on Frank's Tract; Is this a thinly disguised plan to channel more fresh water south? CSPA is preparing to take action.

Is New Don Pedro Reservoir being polluted by the wastewater of Sonora and Jamestown?

September 22- CSPA has discovered that the treated wastewater emptying into Don Pedro is a pollution hazard that needs to be fixed. CSPA is working to have the problem fixed.
