Three more fly fishing clubs, Granite Bay, Shasta Trinity and Tri-Valley show their support for California's fisheries by joining CSPA

March 17, 2009 -- "Yes we can!" But this time it's not partisan politics. The "Yes we can!" comes from three NCCFFF fly fishing clubs who have demonstrated their commitment to restore California's fisheries by renewing their CSPA memberships.

The Granite Bay Fly Casters donated $1,000, the Shasta Trinity Fly Fishers donated $500 and the Tri-Vally Fly Fishers donated $250 for a total of $1,750. All of he money will be used in CSPA's efforts in preserving and restoring California's fisheries.

These clubs have joined over ten other clubs that have shown their solid support of CSPA's efforts for the 2009 year. Other clubs have stated their intentions to contribute but have not yet made the move, some now focused on their annual dinners which are the usual means for generating conservation funds.

An opportunity for regular members to join will come this Saturday at the Dan Blanton Striper and Largemouth Clinic to be held at the Sugar Barge, Bethel Island, this Saturday, March 21 at 10:00am. CSPA will be on-site with hats, shirts and jackets for those that join.

Of course, those wishing to become members of CSPA can join any time by using the on-line pay PayPal link or by printing out the membership form and mailing it in with a check or their credit card number.
