Delta anglers and guides opposing AB 1253 produce ten minute video

April 14, 2009 -- A group of delta anglers and guides have produced a 10 minute video asking for the defeat of AB 1253, the striper deregulation bill. Robert Johnson, a private angler, produced the film with the camera work and direction done by Mike E. Wier, a guide and professional nature photographer and cinematographer. The film features Johnson, Wier, Bobby Barrack and Mike Costello, two top notch delta guides and Gene Buchholz, owner of Hook, Line and Sinker. The film can be viewed at www.SaveDeltaFish.Com. The website also has provisions for viewers to sign a petition stating they oppose the bill.
