The panel will feature Center for Biological Diversity biologist Noah Greenwald, who will defend the Center 's recent victory in a suit against the Department of Fish and Game that resulted in a temporary cessation of hatchery trout stocking in some California waters, Tom Stienstra, outdoor columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle who organized the panel, a representative from the Department of Fish and Game, and writer Dan Bacher of Fish Sniffer. Because limiting stocking to protect native fish and amphibians has generated a fair degree of controversy, and there has been a lot of misinformation circulated about the restrictions on stocking of trout in California waters, Noah would appreciate your support in the audience.
